He is a consultant, actor, game developer and knife thrower. He runs his entire operation from his desk at the co-working space at LYNfabrikken.
What do you do?
“I help groups handle difficult conversations and guide them towards a better and more healthy internal communication. My tools are theatrical practises and the board games I’ve helped develop. I use my wide range of experiences and a common thing in all I do is, that my clients never just sit and listen. I base my work on my experience as an actor and performer: what makes people stop and watch a street show and what makes them leave? I know what personal identification can do to an audience, and that is exactly what I use to help people see their own situation objectively.”
What would you like to do?
“The processes I’m working with at the moment are very interesting. I collaborate with professionals with in-depth knowledge of a certain field – like a psychiatrist. Together we plan a process through which I can shift my focus from more abstract reflexions to hands-on situations. I can become the client, the citizen or the employee handling the situation on a practical and emotional level. By converting theories to action on the spot we bring forth a dynamic engagement, which can lead to valuable recognitions. That is very enriching work for me, and I would love to do more of that.”
What are you into?
“I’m into tech and gadgets – and how human behavior is influenced by technology. I often spend many hours trying new gadgets designed to make life easier. So much so that it can become an obsession – and maybe even complicate things a bit.”
