Meet Lau.

A software developer and IT-entrepreneur working from the co-working space at LYNfabrikken.

What do you do?
I'm an entrepreneur and part of several startups – mainly centered around building B2B software. I like to keep the clients’ unique needs in mind, which often results in customized solutions aiming to exceed their expectations. The interesting part of my work is the ‘real’ people I try to help overcome the different challenges they face. I enjoy the open dialogue with clients, and the goal is to provide great solutions fitting the needs.

What would you like to do?
The culture of small businesses is cool because it provides a lot of freedom. After 10 years of running a small software company, I would like to be involved in building a business with higher impact. I’m part of a startup now – a platform called CashWorks, which provides large organisations with a possibility to offer their suppliers early payment against a discount. This can mean a big difference for the suppliers who need to improve their cashflow, and it’s a unique opportunity for the corporations who are looking for higher returns on their excess liquidity. The core feature is simple, but it has huge value and potential. Software at its best.

What are you into?
Trying new things. I’m passionate about passion and immerse myself deeply in the things I do. Whether it's building a business, throwing a dinner party, tasting wine, traveling or creating new software for my Tesla. I really feel that the more energy I put into something, the more rewarding it is.
