She is a writer, copywriter, cartoonist and voice-over artist, working from the co-working space at LYNfabrikken.
What do you do?
“I communicate complicated things in a simple and often fun way through text and drawings. I help clients explore and get a new perspective on subjects that are difficult or hard to talk about. And hopefully make it easier for people, readers, employers or employees to communicate about these things. Whether it’s more scientific articles, interviews, columns or quirky cartoons about human behaviour. I am from Holland so I work for both Dutch and Danish clients. Small and large corporations, newspapers and magazines. .
And I love to do flowcharts. I can flowchart anything. Literally.”
What would you like to do?
“Since I was 10 I have been saying that I want to write a bit, I want to draw a bit, and I don’t want to get up early. And that’s what I do now. So in that sense, I love what I do. But I would also like to develop, get better at what I do and collaborate more with other people. I would also love to travel more, see more weird places and tell stories about them. And I would like to have a one-woman-show – singing and telling stories from my life – like when I lost my car keys in a traffic jam. But that is for later.”
What are you into?
“I’m very curious in a really broad sense, and a lot of my writing springs from my curiosity. But other than that I have been singing and dancing for most of my life – from tap to modern ballet. I guess that’s also about expressing something through a different perspective, telling stories and entertaining.”
